Looks good to me for third world travel. The same weak points of low luggage carrying capacity, small fuel tank and uncomfortable seat.

The WR250R has aftermarket large gas tank, racks and luggage available for sale. You might have to jerryrig something for this little guy.

I’m considering buying a Yamaha wr125 well I’m going to buy one if I can find out a bit more information on the height I’m around 5 foot 2. Does anyone know if I was to buy the bike and lowering would it suit my needs. Also has anyone done it them selves. Thanks Trevis

If you are 5'2 with a 26" inside leg:

says you'd need to lower it by 5 inches to even put a toe down.

Not looking practical IMHO but the only sure test is sitting on one.
