Hello Stormsearcher, I think I just ran into a reply of yours to an earlier thread. I must say that if you managed to tour India on a RD350, you deserve respect! Great stuff!
I don't think any of the bikes you name would give problems in Australia - try them if possible as many off-roaders are incredibly uncomfortable on long rides, especially if you are tall. Good luck! |
thanks ed/ since we dont have much choice in terms of mobikes we make do with whatevers available/ guys ride rallies, dirt racin, etc with street 100 -140cc streetbikes/with street tires/i take my bike with street tires thro sand ,slush, gravel anything.anyway i aint very tall /only 5'8/after goin thro the forums i have decided fer a klr/(/i want 3 bikes/lol/hypersports,dirt and dual tourer/
)fer starters the klr is my choice/by the way i gotta say this is one helluva site!its a real boon fer guys like me to know a lot of stuff bout particular bikes. |
Hey Stormsearcher,
come "Down Under" and stay at our place in Melbourne. We'll help you out, looking for a bike and tips on where to go. It's the good time of the year coming up, especially if you want to visit the lower part of Australia. Cheers |
