1985 XT600 Headlight, other options

Hello, I have a 1985 XT600 Tenere, does anybody know what other models Yamaha used the headlight on? Want to keep the bike standard looking but need a R/H drive headlight. Everything on ebay seems to be L/H ?
Thanks

I think (pause) the TZR250 & DT125 will fit (the glass bit) but check with your local dealer, what model XT is it?

The speedo can be had on ebay USA (MPH) if you find a clean one.

You sure its not the rarer 55W ? you say its a 1985 yeah, just have a look for the letters 55W almost the same as a 34L & only made for one year.

Well spotted Mezo ?!? The frame number punched into the headstock does indeed start with "X 55W-......X" I bought it locally about 10 months ago, £600 with 34000 Km on the clock

Well your a lucky bugger then, now i can see a pic its 100% a 55W, easy way to spot them is the longer seat (34L is stubby) the front disk protector and if you notice the front axle is higher up the fork than the 34L, the 55W had revised suspension over the 34L, it was the in between bike before the 1VJ was launched.

Id say the 55W is the best of the best of Tenere, the fact it was only produced for one year makes them that much more rare & collectable. bier

And you didn't even know you owned one eh. :blushing:

Bike looks very good on the pic, not a bad price.
I agree whit Mezo the 34L and 55W are best Tenere ever build.
