1987 XT600t parts interchangability
 

My 1987 XT600t is in need of Rt side(kick start) engine case cover and a kick start lever. I bought it 2 years ago and due to problems and a slow mechanic I have logged 21 kms on it since I bought it. Sad!
There are few to no:stormy: parts machines on the East coast of Canada(that I can find). All mechanics that worked on them, that I spoke to, seem to have vague recollections and are not overly helpful. Life marches on.
I need to find spares that will fit and am unsure of the interchangability of models\years.
We are losing riding weather so I have some time but I need to get on this machine to begin the journey I was hoping for 2 years ago.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have any parts you need ,except the lever itself ,don't have many extras of those. I have 2 complete motors (runable) and parts from several others. If you want a good motor that you can just swap in and go it's sitting in a frame yet.

Hello. Sorry for the late reply. I have a couple of leads but would like to explore all options. How much would an entire engine cost me? I need all the numbers to make the best decision.
