23l fuel tank
 

When touring on the xt - how many miles do you roughly expect to get out of a full 23l tank - i realise this depends on speed/terrain etc - but thinking of days travelling at 60mph, - this is just to get a gauge of milleage i can cover - as still never reset clock and ran till empty ! as always end up filling it up when passing petrol station.

HI, i have the 23 liters acerbis tank and my xt is giving me now 23 km per litre on motorway at 56 to 60 mph in fourth gear and loaded with sidecases plus me!!! 250 pounds, so, 529 kms or 330,6 miles

I've been looking at the Acerbis tanks on Bert Harkins Racing site. Can the XT fittings (tap etc) be used or will I need to buy extra bits? Thanks.

Hi,
The standard plastics fit with the Acerbis tank. I didn,t need to buy anything with mine, it came with everything including petrol pipe etc. (It,s a bit of a crappy fit to be honest, some of it's waytoo close to hot bits of engine in my humble opinion.)
