34L XT600 tail light wanted
 

Hi all

If anybody has a tail (rear light) lurking around in their garage for a 1983 XT600 34L I'd gladly buy it off them. I am 99.9% sure the 43F version and the 55W version from 84 and 85 respectively are the same unit as well.

I think I may have the light you are looking for. I will take a look this weekend in the garage and see if its still there? I also have quite a few other bits n pieces you might be interested in?

I think they are the same as some other Yamaha models of similar age.
Check Ebay.

I put an aftermarket rear fender/light on mine. It looked good too.
Try these guys, they are my local bike shop. Tell them Tom (who's just had the crash) told you!!!

cheers Tom but my 34L is probably one of the very few left in the country that is nearly standard - proper fornt mudguard, mirrors and handguards, matching frame and engine numbers and all that
it's not concourse ( :confused1: ) condition but pretty good so I would like to get it the right tail light if poss - there must be one in the world somewhere

actually there is one on Ebay.de but the photos aren't very promising and it costs around 50quid including postage :eek3:

hopefully one will turn up somewhere

Hi Dick if you still need a light I am sure I got one from a 43F it should be the same. I will try and find it and check the condition.
