3AJ wiring diagram?
Hi Folks,
I've got an engine from a 3AJ Tenere that I'm putting into a project go-kart (http://www.jump-around.com/features/anneka/). The engine has just a pretty major overhaul: all bearings replaced, new transmission and gearchange shafts, 620CC re-bore & new valves/springs. It's now time to fit the engine up in the kart. I've got a clymer manual but it's for slightly older models (pre electric start). Does anybody have a copy of the wiring diagram for a 3AJ please? Thanks in advance, - James |
Hi James,
www.xt600.de is a good reference site. See link: http://www.xt600.de/xt_werkstatt/+te...600z_88_90.jpg Geoff |
Fancy meeting you here! http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb/wink.gif
Thanks a lot for that - my schoolboy german's enough to follow it. If all goes to pot then I might have to "borrow" Lewis' (POB/London) bike for closer inspection. |
I was wondering why my ears were burning... and here you all are! A good show from the unofficial Tenere Club of London (even if one is defecting to 4 wheels!).
Geoff - that was also the best wiring diagram I could find (although I have the original handbook for my bike and there may be one in there... if I can find it I'll dig it out and scan it). James - you're welcome to pore over my bike anytime you need to. The brake light connector to the front brake lever stopped working today, and I suspect I will have to remove the dash and re-heatshrink and clean all of my wiring. I can't have it going all flaky on me over the winter! Cheers. PS > Will reply in more depth to yr mail Geoff, ASAP. |
Have sent you guys the file, and will try to host it online soon.

Thanks Lewis,
I've chopped up the wiring diagram into 2 different files: The diagram http://www.jump-around.com/features/...ng-diagram.gif The legend http://www.jump-around.com/features/...ing-legend.gif |
Thats the neatest wiring diagram I've come across for the 3AJ.
Just in time too, I was planning to familiarise myself with wiring pretty soon. Thanks Lewis and JimboC Geoff |
