600 tenere ivj italian import 1988 ?
 

Hi , bike running rich so checked choke which seemed to be sticking . choke cable a 2 peice set up which bolts directly into carb and have sheared bolt in carb (heavy hands) . would you have to remove carb to replace cable apart from sheared bolt ? cheers .

Have a 1vj Tenere too, Choke cable should come out only removing the rubber and open with the tool(I think it is a 12). Later I put a new one from the XT 600 CHokes, without cable. It is not too dificult to reach it riding with left hand under tank....It never gets rusty!
