'84-'89 front wheel onto '92 XT600E
 

The front wheel of my '92 is shot. I'd like to avoid having to re-lace it, and I can't find a used wheel here in America. Earlier wheels are plentiful, though. Does anyone know if the earlier, '84-'89 XT600 front wheel will swap onto the '92 forks? If it's not a direct swap, what mods would be necessary?

84-89 wheels will swap, same size axle diameter, only axle end is different, you can use 92 axle with old wheel.

Thanks. Does the early brake rotor line up and work with the '92 caliper?

If my brain still works ok, they r same size, 267 mm diameter, so should be OK.
100% sure that '92 disk is 267, a short search in spare parts online shops should confirm with no doubts if 84-89 size is the same.
