CO, USA. There's one for sale on Fleabay Germany but I don't think seller wants to ship to US. Best way to ship used gas tanks is to label "motorcycle parts".
Customs get weary if shipping a gas tank (fumes etc).

I have bought several tank from Germany no problem, most people who is selling have empty and let them stand open for weeks. Its no dangerous goods when its dry.

Honestly i dont know, Germany si large country and distance from south to Norway is not short. First i would found out what an used tank is classified as, if it says BOMB in US you have a problem. Other than that an open tank in both ends is just a piece of metal/plastic. On ebay i find alot of used tank in US for sale, shipping to Norway no problem, bought one that was shipped with USPS.
