Ambidextrous 3AJ lighting
I've just had (and passed!) my MOT*, and the guy doing it commented on my headlights - apparently they don't do the 'kick up to the left' thing on dipped beam, so don't need any masking out when driving on the right side of the road.
Does anyone know if this is normal, just for right hand drive models or has someone done some modifying? Pretty nifty if it's standard. *Compulsory annual UK roadworthyness testing. |
some lenses have a flat beam patern somewhat similar to a fog light so dont need the "kick" adjusting with a bit of tape, my oe light reflector was corroded and gave an odd patern so i tuned it with some insulation tape untill i found a replacement light unit.
