Battery on TT600R
 

My TT600R (only) has a condensor, I think to provide some buffer in the electrical system.
I would like to install a small battery to run a GPS and an electrical roadbook.
Can I just install a battery instead of the condensor? Is the charging system suitable for that or are there other mods to be done?

I did that.....
 

Yep, i unplugged the thingy and put a small battery in its place, then wired a cable direct to a Garmin GPS.
It worked fine
