Brak caliper question

:confused1: Hi guys, question! how many different front brake calipers have been used on the xt/xtz/ tenere range. Trying to find the correct one for my forks ( hybrid bike), bought from a breaker, they had them listed as being from a 650 tenere! I suspect that they are from an xtz 660. I have the caliper from a 34L model which does not fit.
Thanks for any help.

Don't know if this helps but my 86 Tenere uses the same calipers/fork sliders as the TT not the XT that appears in the Clymer manual, so they seem to vary a bit on whats fitted to the different models.

Dave

Most calipers are interchangable. Its the actual bracket which makes it bike specific..
