the previous owner let me know about this after I had bought the bike. concern in itself but I would appreciate thoughts on why this happened.

1988 SRX 600
Basically a kick start XT600E engine.

hi in the first pic there looks to be a rounded indent in the slot where the clutch plates tangs slide(with the crack running from that corner),maybe a bar has been put between the slots to tighten/undo the large centre nut ,is there another indent opposite ,steve
