Brushguards

I want to fit some decent alloy-framed brushguards to my Ténéré (3AJ model) but the Acerbis ones I looked will catch on the fairing unless the bars are raised by 3in (75mm) or so. I have the original bars. Has anyone got any recommendations for brushguards, or even replacement bars so I can fit the Acerbis ones?

I have the same problem. I bought some nice acerbis rallye guards but had to return them.

Hi,

I'm using Acerbis guards on my 3AJ. Just had to tilt the handlebars back a little and then they fit just inside the fairing at all steering movements. Its close, but it works.

How high are your handlebars if you measure from the lowest part of your bars up to the cross bar? Are you using standard bars?

I solved this problem on my model 43F XT600 by fitting touratech bar raisers. they raise the bars be enough to stop the tank getting damaged. I also thing they improve the riding position.

acerbis rallye pro guards are very strong, btw ;-)
