Center Stand+Rear Shock
 

Looking for a center stand for a 3aj model Tenere, does anyone know where I can get on or does anyone have one they are looking to sell. Has anyone fitted an Ohlin shock? Was it worth the money?

Wunderlich.de or kedo.de sells centerstands.

Fitting an aftermarket shock is always a good idea. I have no experience with Ohlins but fi Technoflex, White Power and Hyperpro give excellent results.

Purchased mine via Riderhaus (http://www.riderhaus.com/). Price was 89 EUR + p&p.

Just fitted one to our DR650SE and I'm not impressed: heavy, brittle plastic coating instead of paint (damaged on arrival), unstable in forward direction (bike rolls off stand it pushed with little finger). It's VERY solid, though. I don't know in how far one can draw conclusions for other bikes.

i looked for a long time for a centre stand for my xtz660, until my excellent mechanic suggested i make my own stand. two pieces of tubuler steal one inside the other with a split pin to vary the height of the jack.
these things are perfect for lubing the chain , changing the tyre etc. you can buy them through aerostitch but are very simple to make and carry.
