Decompression Cable Bolt XT600 Kick Start
 

Hello Board, I lost the small bolt that holds the decompression cable in place. Engine top. Yamaha part # 90109-06418-00.
Has any one had luck using a replacement? From a hardware etc? Like most things on this motor it was previous over torqued. I had some blue loctite on it but now its gone.....

Dont worry, buy bolt where they have a bolt that is similar.

it was over torqued and vibrated loose then out. If I get the stock replacement I feel same would happen.
Loctite was used to have in not vibrate out

Does the bolt hold in a piece of metal with a "ring" in it that holds the decompression cable? I can't see any part like that in the picture but that's how I seem to rememeber mine.
