Exhaust MUFFLER inlet pipe diameter
 
Hi all! could anyone tell me the diameter of the XT600E stock Muffler internal diameter? (the part that connects to the end of the downpipes)

Just nipped out to the garage to measure the one I have sat on my workbench and the internal diameter is 45mm.

Do remember though that there is also a graphite seal that fits inside this so final diameter will be a few mm less but unfortunatly im waiting for a new one for mine so cant tell you the exact thickness (no more than a couple of mm though)

I just bought myself a NEW(display condition...few scratches blablabla) Jardine RT4 Alluminum universal muffler for 35USD WITH spark arrestor LOol

the spark arrestor alone costs more than the 35buck..

I took mine off today and also get an internal measurmenmt of 45mm.
Mine did not have any seals fitted though.

Hi!


I got the one with 2" inlet pipe...so any little gaps I can always make a small cut, tighten the edges and weld them... or not...depends if I can get a good exhaust bracket and also fit one of those gaskets,,,
