Greases/ Lock tight.
Hi, is there a rule of thumb for which bolts you apply anti seize compound to and which you would use lock tight?
I also have a tub of Comma CV Lith-Moly grease and one of Copper grease. Any advice would be appreciated. |
I havent loctited a single bolt on mine, just about everything is greased up.
That might just be why i lost my right sidepanel :clap: I've had to much trouble over time, with sticky bits and pieces, because the previous owner didn't bother to lube bolts. |

Im curious, was the Comma CV Lith-Moly grease a waste of cash or will I get to use it on the bike ?? - or only the kitchen door hinge ?
Ive been going through the bike, dismantling....taking a look around, then lubing and reassembling - although no critical parts as yet, except the foot pegs :rolleyes2:. Would using the incorrect grease be a problem ? |

NORD LOCKS are a fantastic invention for a shake proof fastening and can be reused, where as spring washers or nylocks should really be replaced if removed.
