Greasing bearings
 

At the risk of asking a stupid question... I usually don't grease internal bearings but my Clymer manual says to pack crankcase bearings with heat durable grease. Aren't the bearings lubricated by the oil and wouldn't the oil eventually wash away the grease anyway? Taking bearings out of the crankcase I've never seen grease on them either...

Im no expert (by far) but I would just oil the crank before assembling.

Don't mind me, I was having a bit of a blond moment, it said pack the crankcase oil seals! doh
