Hagon vs. Stock shock
My rear shock is starting to collapse, so I am looking around to replace it.
The Hagon shocks come in at roughly the same price as a new stock Yamaha shock. The bloke at the Yamaha dealer reckons that they use Hagon's on Ducati mods. Has anybody had experience of using a Hagon on their Tenere and can you comment? Thanks Geoff |
Have you priced other 3rd party shocks, such as Technoflex? Might even get an Ohlins on German Ebay.
Last time I looked (for my street bike) I thought Hagon's prices were pretty high. One of the companies sponsoring my trip is AllBike Engineering in London. They can rebuild / repair almost any shock and fit a spring of your choosing, probably for ~150 quid. HTH |

I've used them before (fork legs, disks and a shock rebuild) and I was impressed. HTH http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb/biggrin.gif |
Rebuild and repair costs about 90 Euro here which is about 60 Pounds.

Thanks Guys,
After being burnt once by a 'rebuild', I've ordered the stock Yamaha shock £275. |
