carburettor choke piston seized in body any ideas?

Soak in Penetrating oil for a day or two - then apply heat & gentle force.

May need to do this over a week or so.... Be gentle though !

i have exacly the same problem new cable 28 quid!!!:(

Yes obviously water getting down the cable I don't see any evidence of rust though
I am dubious about applying heat!! magnesium very fickle!!

I will use gentle heat, my last option, I don't see how it has seized so stubbornly.
