I Give up. Can someone help with XT model info?
 

I've looked for days to get all the information on the XT600 project bike I just purchased and need some help for the last bit of information. My id is JYA49R009HA004111 The Block # is 34K01.

From the information I have researched it is a 1987, XT600T/TC. What does the T/TC mean? What does the 49R mean?

Being new here, any help is greatly appreciated.

The T/TC means it is a T model or a California T model. My 86 is an S model. The year models don't always go in sequence in the same country. This example did however. So you have a USA version 87 model. 84 thru 87 are all the same mechanically, just different graphics. 88 is slightly different head I understand but very much the same.

So I have a 1987 xt600 usa model. Great and thanks again.

I have an '88 "U" , I didn't know there was any difference in the head until 90 when they went with single carbs.
