Hi Leigh I have been reading as many riviews of the TT600RE as possable as I am planning to take one across africa in september. Before I go out and hand over a couple ££££ I was wondering how they were bearing up on your trip?

Back in reality now, bikes safely locked up. They never broke down, 38,000 km and still going. Speedo cable broke on mine and cam chains are sounding a bit rattly. Still on original brake pads, no loose spokes, no leaky fork seals, you can keep your BMW GS thank you very much, I'll have two TTRs and keep the change!

Thanks for replying, glad you had a good trip! how did the suspension hold up under weight? Did you fit a stiffer spring? Would you recomend fitting one for a more off road trip? do you have any photo's you'd share with us??
