Hi can anyone help with total amount of engine oil for 1990 xt 600e.

Periodic oil change
2.7 L (2.9 US qt)
With oil filter replacement
2.8 L (3.0 US qt)
Total amount (rebuild)
3.3 L (3.5 US qt)

Yep, just under 3 ltr.

You might wanna put in around 2 ltr.s the turn the starter motor over, cut of he engine and refill. Sometimes you can pour to faster than the engine can eat the oil, and you get oil on the floor, beeen there, done that.

I do a filterchange everytine i change oil, nice to know that everything is top $ and doesn't cost ya much.
