$200 ???????? Seriously.

I bought a set of Genuine XT600 rings from my local dealer.. £39. I think.

Do not buy second hand or cheap Chinese copies or you're asking for a much bigger bill.

some genuine yamaha items are not that expensive, always worth looking,as an example sidepanel 65 quid plus plus postage for secondhand one that may arrive with missing lugs or not quite as picure or 87 for new genuine in packaging, just collect from your local dealer...
theres also some items that prices is a shocker on...

Prox Piston

Hi,

96,5 mm is not a Yamaha Piston as far as I know they do only 0,5 and 1 mm. 96,5 mm is 1,5 mm oversize and that piston you can get from PROX so check who imports PROX into your country and I am sure you can order from them a set of Piston rings. Or ask your friendly Moto Cross dealer close to you he should no where to get PROX parts.

Cheers !

It,s most certainly an aftermarket piston as its bigger than 4th ovesize...........I have a standard piston too with new rings so will go down that path after a hone......yeah well hen I overhauled the engine and ordered new gers and cam chain I asked about the price from the dealer and never asked about the rings which when I paid for them nearly crapped my pants as they were the most expensive items, more than the camchain and the gears......:(

Jeez. For that $200 you could of probably got a new cylinder sleeve. If you're on 4th oversize, then you're probably not far from that anyway.
