Both yes and no, theres only so much air the bike can use, adding more than that doesnt help.

Theese bikes just doesnt benefit as much from airbox/filter/exhaust-changes as other bikes. Atleast thats my experience.

The stock motor just isnt build for max horsepower, and hi-reving action. But you can trash it, and still travel around the world on it. :thumbup1:

Back in the uk for ten days and am trying to pick up another carb for a 1vj....cheap so might be good for spares ....one on flea bay.......
