Removing LHS cover on electric start
I need to remove my alternator coil from my bike for rewiring.
My Clymer manual only shows removal for the kickstart model. The problem is that on the electric start model, the side cover seems to include part of the starter motor cover. When I take this cover off, what can I expect to come off with it. Are there lots of splines/springs etc. which might fallout from the starter side cover? If so, can anyone please tell me the correct procedure for removing it? Thanks Geoff |
