Scottoiler on 1VJ Tenere
 

I want to fit a Scottoiler onto my 86 1VJ Tenere. The question I have is where to connect the vacuum hose. Has anyone spliced into the fuel pump line from the inlet side of the left carb? Will it mess up the pump action, or am I ok? The right carb has a hose from the inlet side which seems to go to the body of the left carb. Anyone know what that's for?

i spliced my scotoiler into the fuel pump vacuum hose (going into the left hand inlet manifold. no probs. all seems ok.

Same here, I also spliced into the fuel pump hose on my 1998 tenere and it seems fine
