Seeking advice in La Paz
We are currently in La Paz with 2 XTZ 750 and have a slight ignition coil problem. We need a new ignition coil with 2 outputs (e.g. Honda Africa Twin).
Does anyone have any good contact or tips to find one? Many thanks in advance Flachschieberli |

Are both outputs none working? Replace just what you need.. Coils like AT are not easy to find down here.. Older ATs models like mine (’91) and during some years more use to have 2 singles coils for each cylinder connected in parallel, the same coil that use to come in many Hondas and Kawasakis like XRs KLRs CG125 and even on small scooter. I have an Italian friend who few years ago on a BMW R100GS/PD with the same problem also in La Paz (after riding in Uyuni flooded salar at Walter Nosiglia workshop) after days trying to find a double coil he took my advice and found a Suzuki Scooter coil just for the cylinder that wasn’t working and was fine… Saludos & Suerte. |
