Can you get these for a 1vj does anyone know?

I think they are avaible
I would try Kedo, they are in Germany but speak English and ship to England.
There are shops in UK (MandP and WeMoto) but you may end up with the wrong pipe as alot of shops just ask what year your bike is.
Could also ask Dave Lambeth in UK he will know whats what.

Kedo has them, all xt 600 should use the same, but they've written a disclaimer, about the pipe well get very close to the (larger?) fueltank on the 1vj an 3aj, and theres a risk of fire.

I spoke to Dave Lambeth he says the pipes are the same except the heat sheild is in a slightly differnt position (maybe because of the large tank on the 3AJ JUST A GUESS)
