strange noise XT600E
 

Hallo,

Have a new XT600E with only 600 km on the clock. When starting there is this tickling noise that usually comes from the starter. The problem is that it takes about 30sec before it goes away. I only have it at cold starting and when it's cold outside. From 10 degrees on or when the engine is warm there is nothing to hear. Does anybody have a clue what this could be.

mine makes the same ticking at cold start up,my guess its the frame oil tank filling up.
All the XT E's ive heard does the same so it must be normal http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb/cool.gif
