Tenere 700 in USA
 

Are there any plans for Yamaha to roll out Tenere 700 Extreme in the US ?

There is only one e model an available in US Tenere 700.

I can’t figure out if it equivalent to Explorer, Extreme, RAID, Rally or it is just different configuration?

Really liked what I saw and read about Explorer and Extreme but unfortunately it is not something you can buy in the US.

Difference is the fully adjustable KYB suspension with 20mm extra leveling, coating kashima inside to eliminate friction. Titan pegs, radiator protection and chain guide in alu. 5inch screen with 3 teams, rally raid screen roadbook style. Flat seat with 20mm extra padding, color matching high screen, wheels gold. Can send you one from Norway:scooter:

I am not sure if I can import from Norway and what it will cost me.

It is silly that Yamaha is not selling this machine in US.

ASFAIK, the extreme version is assembled in Yamaha Belgrada Italy so mostly go to Euro markets, US bikes get shipped from Japan. A bit same story as the late Belgrada TTR600s



TBH, most, if not all, are upgrades that you can add yourself to suit your own taste... som every good suspension specialists in USA doing stuff for the T7. Base bike is the same, all bolt on stuff.
