tt600 Carb
Hi New to the forum and to computers so please bear with me i've got a 83 TT600 go's great but it started to leak fuel out of the bowl overflow tryed tapping it with a small hammer stopped but started again carb looks like it would be a bitch to take off and rebuild or clean is there anything I can do to fix it with out taking it off
Thanks in advance |
No worries
It's a good idea to install an inline fuel filter in the hose from tank to carb.
To remove any dirt from the bowl / needle: close fuel tap, open drain screw at bottom of bowl (from left side, at the bottom), open fuel tap, let run for a while. Repeat as necessary. Carb is not so difficult to remove and dismantle, but that would only be necessary when the float needle / seat is worn. Auke |
Thanks It stopped buy itself but i'll do what you said anyway thanks again
