tt600 electrics conversion
 

Hi everyone, I have a 1984 tt600 I have read and also been advised that it is better lighting etc if I convert it to 12 volts using an xt stator, I have been advised that I can use the voltage regulator and rectifier which are already fitted on the tt? does any one know if this is true or do I also have to use the xt voltage regulator/rectifier ? Do I need anything like a battery eliminator if I use the xt reg/rectifier? Has anyone done one of these conversions and if so any advice, help and information would be greatly appreciated.
