Tt600r crankcase breather? Where to?

Tt600r crankcase breather hose is currently going up with end of hose near top of carb? This results in oily film, oil over carb and down onto crankcase. Question is it meant to have a filter, valve on the end or go to airbox? I can't see any inlet into airbox. I was intending to put some sort catch can on and run hose from catch can either down or into air box. Does anyone know standard set up. Cheers Bob

TT600 & XT600 (same engine).

The XT600Z`s breather pipe goes to the airbox but on the XT600E`s the pipe just sits there with a filter on the end, the idea is when you turn the motor off the oil (very little) goes back down in to the crank (no need for a catch bottle).

So if there is no inlet on the airbox it just sits upright under the front seat area with a filter.

Filter, sweet

Hey thanks for info, can't see any outlet on air box so long will source a filter. Thanks again

Anywhere will do !!

As long as it can breath. If you're getting oil out of it then you may have over filled your bike.

Had the exact same issue when I just put mine back together! The airbox lug for the breather pipe is almost impossible to see when the carb is back in - but you'll find it behind the Ohlins rear shock reservoir and the frame - can just about see it with a torch and get it attached again by feel.
