u.s. model oil pump?
 

Not sure if this has been asked before, but my searching proved unsuccessful. Does anyone know if an 89 u.s. model xt600 would have the improved oil pump of the 3aj teneres? My cylinder designation is 3aj 00. I could take the oil pump out to look at it, but if anyone already knows it would save me some unneccessary labor.

Okay, after checking xt600.de I think I now know. It appears that my xt has the same engine as the '89 2kf model. So it has the increased cooling fins of the 3aj but not the oil pump or the stronger top gear?
