I've tried doing a search and couldn't find them. I'd be running 36mm carbs due to the inlets on the head I have. The problem I had was trying to make them fit within the frame:(. I just gave up. The former owner of the head used Amals but they are mega bucks!!! |

mikuni they are the same as used by suzuki on the freewind 650 and the ccm r30 bikes fitted with the suzuki engine
i had to modify the standard inlet stubs, the throttle cable assy and the tubes to the air box |
Please keep us updated =)

Results from a dynorun to see if the effort pays of :)

dyno's dont give the whole story though its more about how the power is delivered.i upped the power with the new carbs, airbox mod and exhaust system prior to the strip down of the bike to powder coat the frame and noticed that the increase in power and supermoto conversion had compromised the capabilities of the standard braking system and there were handling issues, its hard to steer when the front wheel's lifting mid corner.i have now changed the weight of the bike using a longer swingarm different gearing and wheels complete with uprated brakes.so if the dyno gave a figure at the lower end of my estimate of around 55bhp it will not give a proper indication of this bikes capabilities.

No, 'course not.
But the HP and the torque curve could be wery interesting to see. A lot of tuneup's on single cylinder bikes gives more effeect, but at higher rpms. |
tuning tends to be more top end of the rev range as this is where most engines can be improved upon with the standard displacement.
tuning is simply just what it is, the fine tuning of the materials available there is no replacement for displacement if you want more power at the lower end of the rev range. |
