What have I got?
Hello, new member here and first time XT600 owner asking some dumb questions!
My bike is an XT600E-based flat-tracker but what year? It's been re-registered on a Q-plate in the UK so can it be determined by the VIN and engine numbers? There a 2 engine numbers: 3AJ00 - this is not long enough to be an identifier so what does it mean? YM3TB0058xx - looks better VIN (on headstock) YM3TB0091xx I assume the 3TB is the model in this case. Clearly they don't match. 3AJ00 is casting mark from the previous model (Tenere 3AJ) they used the barrel on the 600E & yes 3TB is the model.
The numbers would have matched from new. Mezo. |
