Hey guys - I am needing to buy a chain roller for my project bike - as it doesnt even have one!! When I got it the chain was running on the bolt!

I was looking at the aftermarket ones - but what size do I need an 85 XT600?

Cheers,

scate board wheel to chain roller

I once made a chain roller for and old xt500 out off a scate board wheel. It worked great and i had three spares when i was finished. Love those old xt yammys:offtopic:

received my chain roller and it didn't fit,the hole was too small to fit on the shaft, had to drill the shaft out and made it fit with a nut and bolt perfect :)

I guess I'll just give a try on my old skateboard or rollerblade wheels

Can you please post some pictures of what you have done. I'm planning doing something similar for my '92. XT, so I could "steal" some ideas from you.
