Which CDI box ?

Will a CDI box from a 2KF 1989 kickstart
fit a 1989 3AJ eletric start

yes, with one difference:
the circuit for the side stand switch is different and has to be adapted.
refer to circuit plans

Thanks for the link Klaus,

I've studied the wiring diagrams. I'm not
worried about the sidestand circuit as much
as 3aj and 2kf have different number of wires
coming from CDI (10 Vs 11) Also different colour codes. If anyone else is interested
the CDI is for sale on ebay uk now. I think
I'll leave this one.
