Xt 500E
 

Hello guys...

I have an Xt 500E 4pt and I guess I will keep it for about a year or so, but since i had some falls it's in a pretty bad condition.

What I mean? Well it's mostly cosmetic damage , you always want your bike to be perfect. So I had some questions

1) I live in Greece and the trips im planning arent that big and mostly balkans and greece so will I need that acerbis tank?(Lack of money you see). My tank has a hit and the left plastic is useless. So I don't know what to do, fix the tank and find a new plastic or buy that tank once and for all(keep in mind that I aim to buy an africa twin after a year, a year and a half from now.

2) MY rims have those annoying rust spots and I wanted to paint the rims black. Is it easy?How do I do that?

3) Can I swap an headlight from an Xt660 so i can have a windscreen and not look that awful?

4) I want to ride on trails and dirt (not anything hardcore) although I sport some michellin annakee. Any better suggestion?

5) Any good seat cover suggestion?Although if I lower the seat(digging it a lil bit, will it affect the ammount of vibration on the bike?
