XT 600e carb needle spacers
 
2003 XT 660e.
When I was lifting the needle retaining plate up from the CV carb the needle came with it then fell back into the slide. The spacers came off before I could see their orientation. There's a spring, a thin metal washer and a thick plastic spacer.
It looks to me that they should go back in the order spring and metal washer below the E clip on the needle and the plastic spacer above the E clip. The plastic spacer is quite thick so it's placing would make a big difference to the mixture.
Can anyone confirm how they go back?

scheme form the manual completed with some images from the memory proves same.

mixture is adjusted by the location of e-clip (i.e. bottom of the barrel) relative to the needle. stuff above e-clip doesn't work in this field.

Confirmed, it's like you said, as by the manual picture....



not sure what n67 meant by "stuff above e-clip doesn't work in this field." not true...
