xt/srx 600 coil
 

hi there a mate has a 1990 mono shock srx the one with the electric start xt600 e motor . the coil has gone and i was thinking the coil maybe the same as the 600e. the coil make is DENSO 129700 it has 2 spade conections one slighty wider then the other this one is the 12v feed to the coil. can any of you guys conferm it is the same as a 600e coil , thanks zigzag:helpsmilie:

looks like I have two pins but thats from the wiring diagram....

My 1990 XT600E has two blades and the sparkplug cap cable..
One of the blades is larger than the other!

I'm 100%sure because I've wired my Trailtech Vapor tach to the coil!

thanks for the replys guys , i think my mate is going down the yamaha shop to price a new one . what im realy after is a DENSO part number match so i know its the right omhs rating coil . i will see what my mate come up with for know . cheers zigzag:thumbup1:
