XT550 engine swap
 

I have an XT550 - 82. Unfortunately its not running. Supposedly its the exhaust valves (among many other things...decompression)...

So I´m thinking I might be able to buy an XT 600 engine at a low cost, and swap it without to much difficulty. Will it fit??
Anyone has any experience on the matter, cause I sure don´t

Yup, the kick start 600's will bolt right in. Cdi, might need to be changed, not sure on the european ones.
