Morning people,

Does anyone know if this is a straight swap for a 3TB shock ?

Yep - straight swap. It is slightly longer overall - circa 10mm I think, has a slightly softer spring and is actually a better damper as it is adjustable. You can also mix/match (though you will need a spring compressor to get the 3TB spring off).
I ran a 3TB spring on a 1VJ damper for my 3TB long distance trials oufit for a little while until Dave Lambeth let me have an even stiffer spring.

No you dont, never used anything else than hand tools for change of spring.
