XT600 Flywheel removal
 

Any tips for getting the flywheel off an XT600 (43F)?

Got a puller on it done up FT. Tried, heat and I've tried shock, I'm almost at the stage of cutting it off and buying another one on ebay...

They are VERY tight.
Make sure you have the blue piece in the pic installed to prevent damage to the threaded end of the crankshaft especially if you are "shocking" the puller centre bolt.

Hi, thanks, it came off in the end, only to reveal that cases have been butchered, welded, glued and now cracked.

So I'll be looking for a set of cases at some point...

try e bay in Germany...I got a set for my 1vj and reasonable price too....crucified by the postage to this little island....
