XT600E carb pipes
 

Hello. Can anyone please help me. I recently took my carb off a 03 xt600e to sort out a backfiring issue. Now putting carb back on and i cant find where to put the pipe coming out of carb just above float bowl. I didn't bother making a note where it went because only 3 pipes on it. 2 overflow and this 3rd one which I remember disconnecting but can't remember where from. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'm not sure if that bike had a vacuum operated petcock ,that is where those hoses usually go. Otherwise if it's a bigger one it would go to either the airbox or intake tube.

Thanks for the reply and help jjrider. It's not vacuum petcock and I've looked all over air box so it must be on intake pipe. The bike is back together and running ok with the pipe not connected so I'll have another look in a couple of days. Thanks again
