XT600E engine case saver EXISTS! sorta..
 

Hi all!

To anyone interested I've jut found this online:

It's and engine case saver for a Yamaha RAPTOR 660 and I would bet it is a bolt on option for our dearly XT's!

If it ain't a bolt on... at least it's the best "template" one out there for a custom one!

That doesnt look really useful to me. in a bit here when I start fabbing up my skidplate, I'm having my friend build me some engine case guards most likely. I'm not sure what exactly I'm looking to build but if there is any interest for the X600, I'll fab up a few sets for a price.

disregard my previous post. I was thinking thse were for the front of he engine for some reason. these actually look worthwhile. chains through the case are usually quite nasty. I was lucky on my last motorcycle to have a sprocket cover that also protected the case well enough considering how my chain came off. it wasnt pretty, but could have been 10000% worse.

something like this is absolutely worth investing in.
