XT600e questions
 

I have a 1995 which is kind of an orphan here in the States. Had two first gens but like the electric starter. First off, I have searched repeatably for the answers but have found no real clear answers.

1) what's the tallest bar I can use and keep stock cables?

2) is there a source for a chain slider other than the oem? The yellow one has all but crumbled. I found oem parts but they are $100.

The cables are pretty long, have never experienced bars so high that you coukdn't make'em work.

Have not seen an aftermarked chainslider. I do however, see them at a reduced price on ebay from time to time.
